Double Down Sports Talk was created to share the opinions of a group of friends who are life long sports fans. Some of us have seen the joys of championships as Yankees and Giants fans, while some of us have suffered as Mets, Jets, Raiders, Bears, Nets, and Rangers fans (yeah, I know we’re pathetic). Kevin (KGEIST/@thegeistman09)

• Born and raised in North Jersey. The brains of the operation. Lifelong Mets, Jets, and Rangers fan. Even though I have yet to see any of my teams win a championship, I will forever remain a loyal fan. “Next year is our year” is a phrase I’ve been saying my whole life and one day “Next Year” will come! Four years of college at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI has only made my hatred for New England sports grow.

Vinny (VMALLEY50/@vmalley50)

• Born and raised in North Jersey. The brawn of the operation. Lifelong Yankee, Raider, and Net fan and I will watch just about any sport on tv. I have seen my teams go through times of success and times despair, and I will stick with them through thick and thin. I am also a soon to be college graduate with a bachelors degree in Sport Management. A couple fun facts: I always lift angry, my beard game is stronger than yours will ever be, and I don’t freaking sleep at night.

Vlad (NICK OBLESCHUK/@Big4Vlad)

• Double Down’s official graphic designer, sports entertainment editor, and wild card. A New England native, college graduate, and total jabroni. Half-assed fitness enthusiast, romantic, video game addict, and glutton. Particular, stubborn, and sassy. Not an actual sports fan. Sometimes wonders why he hangs out with these people.

Billy (BILLY MALLEY/@bmalley15)

• Vinny’s younger brother and human encyclopedia of sports. I am a fantasy guru and knows way more than a human should know about sports. I’m actually kind of a fiend, but in a good way of course. Yankees, Giants (football), and Nets fan who will casually root for the Rangers. I will draft the best fantasy team but most likely overthink everything and beat myself. Fun right?! I am a student at Dominican College and I always know more than my brother. Fact.

• Passionate fan of the New York jets, knicks, rangers and Yankees. Former football player at sacred heart university. Current student at Montclair state university. Also author/founder for @fantasyexpress1 and in my second year writing about fantasy sports. Billy can’t cover me in football if he tried.
