Its Week 7 and we’re back for some Friday Fantasy Talk. This week you got the Giants vs the Rams Sunday morning in London. The game starts at 9:30 AM EST so be prepared to set your lineup either earlier on Sunday or Saturday night. The writing of this article was a combined effort this week so let us know who’s style you like more in the comment section below. Now let’s get to it!

QUARTER BACKS

Kirk Cousins, WAS vs DET

du0ht6p

Since starting their 4 game win streak Kirk Cousins has been playing well and averaging almost 17 points a game during that stretch. He also has a really good matchup this week against the Detroit Lions. The Lions give up the most points to opposing QBs at 24.11 points per game. -Vinny

Andy Dalton, CIN vs CLE

Andy Dalton has been playing pretty well this season despite his teams record and the fact that he lost his number two and three WRs this offseason to free agency and on top of that his top red zone target has yet to play a game so far this season. Well this week it appears Andy will get that red zone target back and they are playing the only winless team in the league, the Cleveland Browns. -Vinny

Blake Bortles, JAX vs OAK

Jaguars Bortles Football

Bortles has been a bit of a disappointment this season. Last year he had a break out year, however this season he has been a turnover machine. He has 9 turnovers this  year to only 8 TDs. This week, however we expect a productive week. There is a good chance Bortles turns the ball over multiple times, but you can expect multiple TDs and a solid amount of yardage against a weak Oakland defense who allows the fifth most fantasy points to opposing QBs. -Kev

SLEEPER: Cody Kessler, CLE vs CIN

Despite starting the season as the third string QB Cody Kessler has done a pretty decent job with the opportunity he has been given, with the talent of players around him. Not counting the New England game, he has progressively scored more points each week since becoming the starter. He has also done a good job at not turning the ball over. He has two turn over in four starts this season and those two turnovers coming in the first to games.  -Vinny

BUST: Brock Osweiler, HOU vs DEN

Lets face it Brock Osweiler is the worst 72 million dollar QB to ever. He has a least one pick in each game this year and has yet to throw for more than 300 yards in a game. Even though Denver is not the team it was last year, they still have a pretty good defense especially when it come to rushing the passer. Von Miller is a freak. But despite Brock sucking and Denver having a good defense this weeks matchup is kind of personal for the Broncos, Brock left them out to dry this off season and they want revenge. Expect Denver to be like sharks that smell blood in the water and get after Brock. I would hate to be Brock this weekend. -Vinny

RUNNINGS BACKS

Spencer Ware / Jamaal Charles, KC vs NO

The Saints are awful when it comes to defending against RBs. To be more exact they are the worst team in the league when it comes to that. They average giving up almost 30 points a game to opposing RBs. The Saints team as a whole also aren’t very good away from the Dome. So that being said the Chiefs RBs have an awesome matchup and that includes not just Spencer Ware but also Jamaal Charles. Whether it be a blow out and the Chiefs just try to run the cloak out, or a close game, since the Chiefs entire offense runs through their running backs, expect them to get them to get a lot of touches. -Vinny

Devanta Freeman / Tevin Coleman, ATL vs SD

Both Atlanta and the Chargers love to play high scoring games. So expect this game to be exactly that. Big numbers, big yards, bigs scores, and bigs plays. That being said Atlanta second and third best offensive weapons, behind Julio, are their two RBs. They have had tough match ups on the road against tough defenses the past two weeks. But they are at home this week and have a much better matchup expect more points for both of them this week. -Vinny

LeGarrette Blount, NE vs PIT

Colonial Celebration

Big Ben out. Steelers suck with no Big Ben. Patriots up big. LeGarrette Blount run ball a lot. I am a caveman. -Vinny

SLEEPER: Jacquizz Rodgers, TB vs SF

Last time Tampa Bay played they gave Jacquizz Rodgers 35 total touches. That is a lot for a third string running back.  Obviously the head coach has some sort of confidence in the play of this third stringer.  That being said the 49ers are the 3rd worst team at defending RBs and got absolutely destroyed by LeSean McCoy last week. So if Rodgers gets anywhere near as many touches as he did last time they played he should have a pretty decent week when it comes to fantasy. -Vinny

BUST: Matt Forte, NYJ vs BAL

Jets suck and they are going to continue to suck especially now with Geno Smith at QB. The Baltimore Raven defense ain’t no push overs either. Expect the Ravens to stuff the box and make Geno Smith be the one to try and beat them. Also expect the Jets offense to not have the ball too often to maintain actually offensive drives. -Vinny

WIDE RECEIVERS

Allen Robinson, JAX vs OAK

robinson

Much like Bortles, Robinson has been a disappointment for fantasy owners. While he has a modest 47 targets, he has only been able to catch 51% of them (24 catches). Jacksonville will continue to throw the ball a ton and Robinson will continue to be Bortles’ main guy. They have a favorable matchup against Oakland and Robinson will have the opportunity for a breakout game based purely only volume and opportunities to make catches. -Kev

Brandon Marshall, NYJ vs BAL

Marshall is a tricky call here. Earlier this week the Jets announced that Geno Smith will be their starting QB, as we all know. This may be a lost season for the Jets, but Marshall has been a consistent fantasy producer. Look for Geno to try to feed Marshall all game. It may result in some completions to the other team, but Marshall should get his fantasy points this week against a Baltimore team that gives up the third most fantasy points to opposing WRs. -Kev

Brandin Cooks, NO vs KC

cooks

Last week Cooks had himself a game with 173 yards and a TD. That was a huge sigh of relief for Cooks owners who have been disappointed by Cooks productions ever since his 27 point explosion week 1. We expect more good things to come and for Cooks to continue on his strong game. -Kev

SLEEPER: Jamison Crowder, WAS vs DET

Crowder has been a TD or bust type of fantasy player this year. However, there is a lot to like from his game. He is very quick and has the ability to make people miss in the open field. He may not be getting a ton of targets, but his elusiveness allows him to make the most of his opportunities. Crowder always has the potential to turn a short pass into a long TD run especially against a team like Detroit who struggles to stop opposing WRs.       -Kev

BUST: Emmanuel Sanders, DEN vs HOU

Sanders has the most targets and receptions on Denver this year. That being said, he only has two double digit fantasy points this season. Sanders only has 1 games with over 100 yards receiving and only 3 TDs on the year. On top of that Houston surrenders the third least amount of fantasy points to opposing WRs. We expect Sanders and the entire Denver offense to struggle this week. -Kev

TIGHT ENDS

Tyler Eifert, CIN vs CLE

Eifert.jpg

Tyler Eifer has been a very frustrating player for owners so far this year. He had such a good break out year last year that many people drafted him very high. Even if his owners knew he was originally injury before the year or not, no one expected him to be out as long as he has been. But it looks like this week he will actually play, and since the Cleveland Browns aren’t a real team and just like Tom Brady did, they are a very good team to get some practice in to get back into the swing of things with. -Vinny

Hunter Henry, SD vs ATL

Hunter Henry has been one of the best and consistent TEs plays even with Antonio Gates in the lineup with him. He has had a touch down in 3 straight games along with double digit points in each of those games. -Vinny

Gary Barnidge, CLE vs CIN

Gary Barnidge

Gary Barnidge hasn’t scored many points this year but at least he is consistent with getting a few catches per game for decent yardage. This week the Brown play against the Bengals who are fifth worst at defending against TEs so this week should be a good week for Barnidge to actually have a better then decent game. -Vinny

SLEEPER: Vernon Davis, WAS vs DET

Kurt Cousins success relies heavily on throwing to his tight end. So if Jordan Reed is out for another week expect Vernon Davis to have another good game this week against Detroit, who is once again not very good at defending against them. -Vinny

BUST: Jimmy Graham, SEA vs ARZ

Graham may not be the Jimmy Graham from his days in New Orleans but he has been quite productive this year in Seattle after coming back from his injury. However, Graham has a very tough matchup this week against Arizona who gives up the least amount of points to opposing TEs. Arizona will do everything they can to try to contain the big bodies Graham and keep him out of the end zone. -Kev

DEFENSE / SPECIAL TEAMS

Buffalo Bills vs MIA

bills.jpg

After getting steamrolled by the Jets in week 2, Buffalo’s defense has completely turned it around. In their past 4 games they have scored 6, 17, 15, and 22 fantasy points, which includes a week 4 shutout against a Brady-less New England. Expect their defense to continue to roll against a Miami team, who if Cleveland didn’t exist would probably be the worst team in football. -Kev

New England Patriots vs PIT

With Big Ben in the lineup Pittsburgh is one of, if not the best team in the league. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, he is not going to be in the lineup for quite some time. With Landry Jones as the starting QB, expect Belichick and the rest of the coaching staff to create a game plan to absolutely torture the young and inexperienced QB. -Kev

Baltimore Ravens vs NYJ

Its Geno time in New York baby!! Gene Smith has the lowest QBR of any QB since he ended the league in 2014. He turns the ball over like it is his job and Baltimore has been a stout defense this season. Look for Baltimore to pressure Geno into doing what he does best, throwing the ball to the other team. -Kev

SLEEPER: Oakland Raiders vs JAX

oakland.jpg

Even though the Raiders have given up a lot of points this year when they cause turn overs and sacks their defense can be fantasy relevant. They have at least 1 sack in every game this year and have caused ten turnovers. Like we stated early Blake Bortles has more turnovers this year then he does TDs. So if the Raiders can get a few turnovers, hit Bortles, and possibly hold them to a decent score their defense can score a decent amount of points and be fantasy relevant this week. -Kev

BUST: Washing ton Redskins vs DET

Washington is on a nice 4 game winning streak. Their defense has been solid and they  have caused a turnover in every game except last week against Philadelphia. However, this week they face a tough offense with Detroit. Matt Stafford has been very good this year. He has had 14 TDs, 4 INTs, and 1 FUM in 6 games. Washington could have a tough time stopping him on Sunday. -Kev
